Sponsored by the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Rose Kennedy Division. Educational Scholarships will be awarded to the winner and her court. Eligible for the pageant are girls, age 17 thru 22 years, who are Irish and Catholic.This is a wonderful opportunity for girls to win scholarship money and celebrate their Irish heritage!

PROGRAM QUALIFICATIONS
You Must:

  1. Be catholic and of Irish Descent.
  2. Be between 17 and 22 years of age.
  3. Never have been married and is childless.
  4. Have completed the official Biographical form and submit a $20.00 entry fee along with it.
  5. Have submitted all entry forms by Feb 9, 2008, to the chairperson: Maureen Kelly - 16560 Levan, Livonia, MI 48154 (734)632-0334
  6. Appear before the committee for an interview on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 1:00 PM., AOH Hall.
  7. If you are selected, you are expected to appear at the 2008:
    • Maid of Erin Pageant February 23rd
    • Pre-Parade Fundraiser February 24th
    • Painting of the Shamrocks March 14th
    • St. Patrick’s Mass and Parade March 16th
    • St. Patrick’s Mass at the AOH March 17th
    • AOH Family Picnic August (date TBD)
    • AOH Charity Ball September (date TBD)
  8. The amount of your scholarship money will depend on how many functions you attend. If you win, you are committing to the above mentioned dates.
